I’m fasting today for the DREAMer’s, and now that I’ve read Mark Bittmann’s NYT blog post, for maybe a bit more. I’m not sure if it matters that much in the national or global scheme of things, but I am learning and in time hope to teach better the morality of Isaiah 58 and the larger witness for the sacred lives of the stranger, the poor, the hungry and the dispossessed.
